Truth or Dare
Each player in turn picks either a dare to perform or a truth to reveal, drawn by the phone. Refusing is always allowed, and a refusal costs the forfeit the group agreed on, never one imposed on the spot.

Truth or Dare is not playable in Capsule yet. It unlocks for every player when the app reaches 1,000 downloads: no purchase, no rating, no review, just a shared counter. The rules below are complete, so you can play without the app in the meantime.
How to play, step by step
- Before the first card, the group sets its limits. What is off the table is off for everyone.
- In turn, each player draws a card, then calls dare or truth.
- The card applies as written: a truth gets answered honestly, a dare gets taken on.
- A player may refuse without explaining. The group then sets the forfeit, which can never be physical or humiliating.
- You cannot pick the same category twice in a row.
- The phone passes clockwise to the next player.
Variants
- Team dares. Forfeits are performed in pairs. Gentler, and usually funnier.
- Blank card. One card in five lets the group invent the dare, by majority.
Playing tips
- The quality of a game comes from the frame set at the start, not from the cards.
- A player passing three times in a row does not want to play. Offer them Debates instead.
